Recently, in the last class with Mr. Mark A. Aziz, I've learnt about the rule of ten.
basically, the rule of ten is about the component that a student should know on how to write a critical response.
The rule of ten consist of:
1) topic
2)content
3)source
4)audience
5)rhetorical function
6)purpose
7)perceptive
8)position
9)impact
10) visual literacy
Somehow after that, every single of my classmate couldn't remember what is the rule of ten, so my lecturer make us to create a formula in order to memorize it. Every body come out with a different formula either in English or Malay. A lot of funny and creative formula was discovered by the citizens of Decom 4A.
my formula for the rule of ten sounds like this:
1) t= teddy
2)c= caught
3)s= somebody
4)a= acting
5)r-f= really funny
6)p= panicking
7)p= pulling
8)p= pranks
9)i= in
10) v-l= video lounge
When put into a sentence;
Teddy caught somebody acting really funny panicking pulling pranks in video lounge.
So that is what i've learnt in the latest class of Critical Literacy with Mr. Mark A. Aziz.
Until next time.
